Mold Temperature Controllers

A mold temperature controller, also known as a temperature control unit (TCU), circulates water or heat-transfer oil through a mold or process circuit. It adds or removes heat to regulate the operating temperature. When a process also needs lower-temperature chilled water, a chiller may be used alongside the temperature control unit.

GDCOLDER offers two circulation media: MTW units use water, while MTO units use heat-transfer oil. These mold temperature controllers can be evaluated for injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding processes. To select a model, confirm the target temperature and medium, then review heating capacity, flow rate, pressure, available cooling water, power supply, and pipe connections.
