An air-cooled industrial chiller uses a refrigeration cycle to produce chilled water for equipment and process cooling. “Air-cooled” describes the condenser, which releases heat to the surrounding air; it does not mean the unit blows cold air directly onto the product. The condenser does not require cooling-tower water, but the unit still needs adequate ventilation and space for heat rejection.
GDCOLDER’s air-cooled chillers can be evaluated for injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, machine tools, and laser equipment. Suitability for semiconductor equipment depends on the machine’s cooling requirements. When comparing models, check the required leaving water temperature, cooling capacity, flow rate, ambient conditions, power supply, and installation space.
